Help 4THE22 provide
This is a 270 mile endurance paddle to raise awareness of veteran and first responder suicide
- We will paddle out of South Haven, MI to Alden Depot Park & Museum in Alden, MI
- We will kick off at 5:30AM with prayer and the national anthem Performed by Erika Rose, an Army Veteran
- We will paddle out of South Haven at 6:00AM on the 13th of July
- You can paddle 1 mile or the whole 270 miles
- We strive to create a strong culture – one of support, encouragement, and inclusiveness
- A steady pace of 3.2 MPH or faster will need to be maintained in order to complete all 270 miles in time
- We are one team, therefore, we will all paddle in the same division regardless of age, sex, board, boat etc…
- Each day will be broken into 6-hour sections
- The course goes along the beautiful shoreline of Lake Michigan
- Leash and PFD required and enforced
- Transportation, food, and lodging are not provided

- DAY 1 (Approximately 47 miles)
- South Haven to Grand Haven (Wet Mitten Surf Shop)
- DAY 2 (Approximately 48 miles)
- Grand Haven (Wet Mitten Surf Shop) to Silver Lake State Park
- DAY 3 (Approximately 48 miles)
- Silver Lake State Park to Manistee State Park
- DAY 4 (Approximately 44 miles)
- Manistee State Park to Empire
- DAY 5 (Approximately 43 miles)
- Empire to Leelanau State Park
- DAY 6 (Approximately 40 miles)
- Leelanau State Park to Alden Depot Park & Museum
IF YOU DO NOT PRE-REGISTER, make sure you SHOW UP EARLY enough to register prior to our 6AM start time. If you would like to join us mid paddle, we will have a GPS tracker on board. You will be able to track us in real time from the Event Day Live page. We just ask that you register before paddling out.
REGISTRATION IS NECESSARY FOR ALL PADDLERS!
